WEEK 2 STEP TOTALS [Feb. 24th, 2005|12:02 pm]
The One Month Pedometer Challenge

step_x_step

[trixiefirecat]
better late than never, through jury rigging of way too many forms of technology, i bring you graphs!

here are our totals for week 2. this time, the average is expressed in the blue line across the bars. not bad, guys!

below are our daily totals for week 2. i think the daily graph reveals that many of us alternate days when it comes to heavier stepping. we do a big day one day and take a break the next.

personally, i've gone down from the first week, each successive week. i believe last week was due to a snow trip that left me with hours outside and no pedometer totals [snowboarding is impossible to clock]. somehow i remember this happening in the summer too, maybe i got excited the first week and took the others for granted?

today i'm walking to a beauty shop during lunch. hopefully it will turn out to be a healthy walk! good luck in your last week, everyone.

Re: it's a tshirt design from the winner of Project Runway

I had to FORCE myself to get to 10000 every day. If I don't go to the gym, it's pretty hard to do it. I left my house after 10pm several nights, just to wander up and down the blocks in my neighborhood to get there. I'm sure my neighbors think I'm casing their houses or something.

i'm so out of touch - i'd take it as a rug, though, with color modifications

good job. now there's 4 inches of snow on the ground here, but i'm too cheap for a gym membership (or i think, 'my tax dollars have already paid for the bike/walk trail!'). now i want to redeem myself in a warm-weather edition of the challenge.

i have been walking (instead of driving) to get groceries a lot more than I used to.

I copped it from the Project Runway online store. It's from a t-shirt design by the winner, Jay McCarroll.

wow, in comparison to active people, I am a real slug. if anything, I am much more aware of my inactivity...now, I should do something about it :) at this time last year i was training for a marathon - at this time this year, I'm a bum.
